The Fort Worth Spirit and Paranormal Adventures tour is an awesome experience for those ghost hunting enthusiasts. There are two tours available. One ghost tour is located in Parker County, Texas, and the other is located in Arlington, Texas. Both tours are priced at $20.
There are two professional paranormal investigators, with years of experience, who lead the ghost tours. Before the ghost tour begins, the ghost hunters will be equipped with a Thermo scanner and EMF meter. Both tools come with instruction booklets.
Along with these items, the ghost hunters will receive a beginner's ghost hunting pamphlet and literature on each stop throughout the tour. The professional paranormal investigators will inform their ghost hunters on the history of each stop, as well as the urban legend that accompanies each location.
The Screaming Bridge Tour for Paranormal Enthusiasts
The Screaming Bridge Tour is focused on a tragic location in Arlington known as Death's Crossing. This ghost tour is limited to five ghost hunters because paranormal activity decreases with a larger amount of people. The stops for The Screaming Bridge Tour are:
- The cemetery where the victims were laid to rest
- The bridge where the tragic events took place, according to urban legends, within River Legacy Park
- The actual location of the event
- "Garden of Angels"
- Calloway Cemetery
The ghost story states that three girls were driving down a road when something scared them. They started driving much faster and tragically flew over a creek before crashing into an embankment. Two of the girls were instantly killed, and one was pronounced dead upon arrival at Baylor Hospital. The Screaming Bridge is the actual location of this tragic event. Ironically, two other women were killed in the same spot, years later; the women were struck by a train while crossing the tracks.
It has been reported that serious paranormal activity has occurred at this site; it's said that some of this activity has been captured on video. Photos and limited footage are available for viewing at the Screaming Bridge Tour website. The "Garden of Angels" is a memorial for 19-year-old, Amy Robinson. The garden miraculously sprouted up at the location Robinson's body was found after she had been kidnapped, tortured and murdered. There are currently hundreds of crosses in the garden to represent lost lives due to violent acts.
The last stop, Calloway Cemetery, is highly known for ghostly activity. Local groups have researched this area and produced several photos of interest and paranormal phenomena. The simple rules of the ghost tour are no smoking, no drinking and no drugs. Smoking is restricted to designated areas only because the guides want to ensure that the activity captured is real.
Parker County Tour for Ghost Hunters
The same rules apply to the Parker County tour, and the same ghost hunting tools are handed out. The only difference is, of course, the locations and the ghost stories behind the stops. The ghost stops for the Parker County tour are:
- Veal Station Cemetery
- Carter, Texas
- Greenwood Cemetery
Veal Station Cemetery is well-known for its glowing tombstone that occurs after sunset. The urban legend of the cemetery is to look out for the woman in white who roams Veal Station Cemetery grieving the loss of one of her children.
Paranormal investigators such as Spirit of the Baker Investigations and DFW Paranormal Research of North Texas have researched Carter, Texas. It is said to be a very active location for paranormal phenomena. The story says that a small child's spirit haunts the school grounds. Inside the school is not as welcoming, and reports show that it is quite common for a ghost hunter's arm hair to be touched or stroked.
Greenwood Cemetery is also known for its high ghostly activity. The urban legends and stories are scary on their own, and several positive photos and video activity are recorded here. The tour stops at this location around midnight. Both tours start in Fort Worth, Texas and end back there after the ghost hunting is complete. Both tours are in high ratings and are worth the time for those avid ghost hunters.
DVDs can be purchased from either ghost tour so the ghost hunters can remember their experience in a real life haunted location. These videos are typically mailed within seven to ten business days at a price of $30. Additional DVDs are available for purchase at $22. Questions and comments can be sent to the website's email address.
